This looks like an interesting little Markdown editor. I think I’ll take it for a spin.
This is nice example of a web component that degrades gracefully—if custom elements aren’t supported, you still get the markdown content, just not converted to HTML.

Markdown gets its own media type: text/markdown.

This could be handy for the editing process in my home-grown blogging system: a PHP script to convert HTML back to Markdown.
