@adactio you’re not wrong! I just started at a new company managing their website and holy smokes! they have stuffed in so many third party scripts, I just don’t know where to start culling.

Too many businesses treat analytics and tracking scripts as victimless technologies—they only see the benefits (in data acquisation) without understanding the costs (in performance).

Agree - but I’d rate the privacy invasion as far more important than performance
Tell me about it, I have a client that has no less then 26 different tracking pixels from probably 15-20 different companies and they expect me to keep there page speed score over 95
