Looking at my website on the very first browser! 🤯
HTML is resilient AF!
This is so cool. Is there a better choice for those HTML entities?
What is the “very first browser”? And how does one view their own site on said browser?
The first web browser was called WorldWideWeb (later Nexus) and it was made by Tim Berners-Lee and only worked on NeXt machines.
Pretty sure the browser didn’t support UTF-8 so I think any correct apostrophes or quote marks are a no-go.
Those folks are literally looking at the first web browser on the computer used to invent the web. At CERN. We can’t see our sites on it. Yet. The same group made it possible for you to look at sites on the 2nd web browser (made by Nicola Pellow): line-mode.cern.ch
