For better or worse people’s taste for journalism is broader than simply the New York Times, NPR, and the BBC. If it provides some semblance of political significance, and is simultaneously popular, then the sensible and unbiased approach is to include it, blind as to who it is

This also applies to FB’s decision on political ads. It’s not it’s duty, and many would argue it’d be overstepping it’s role and power. Rather, it’s the duty of people to take anything a politician says with a grain of salt (duh.) Anything otherwise would be a slippery slope
