That’s right. And on iOS in particular, a vanishingly small number of offline apps are ever added to the home screen.

A progressive web app means HTTPS+service worker+manifest. It does not mean “added to home screen”.

I literally copied what’s in the article, there is more. I figure people should read it before freaking out. So 7 days your data stays unless the user interacts with the site/app. I think that’s perfectly fine.(not great, but fine)
