When you realise that there is no longer a studio audience for University Challenge, the added soundtrack of applause just sounds creepy.

Have you seen any audience-less snooker yet? They’ve improved it but at first the robo-plause sounded like a toilet being flushed.

The rugby is pretty weird too. We’re not sure if the players can hear the noise or not.
