Interesting read. I don’t recall ever reading it before. Glad someone else came to a similar resolution at a similar time. Even if just to make em units easier to manage.

Yeah it’s not as bad as some people make it out to be, imho. Wouldn’t necessarily reach for it on a new project, but I wouldn’t refactor it out of an existing project either.

The linked solution by @clagnut is complex. But I would use that on a “beauty” website maybe. Just don’t see how only scaling type is the solution.
