Social networks like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter that present a so-called algorithmic feed are really providing little more than continuous partial shadowbanning.

@adactio I consider the Instagram feed to be good. It still has everything in it, and it has a clear “you’ve seen everything now” stopping point, it just messes with the order so that if you only see a few pictures you’re getting what the feed thinks is important and not just the most recent ones. If you’re a completionist it’s the exact same amount of scrolling to see the exact same photos as a chronological timeline would be.

The other two are bad, no question.
